Pavai Arts and Science College for Women
Pavai Arts and Science College for Women was established in the year 2009. It is
affiliated to Periyar University, Salem. It is located in the village of Anaipalayam,
Rasipuram, on the National Highways. The college offers six U.G. courses and three
P.G. courses. The college has highly qualified and dedicated faculty who make every
effort to uplift the students both in curricular and extra-curricular activities.
We strive to develop confidence in the minds of our students enabling them to become
educated, cultured and disciplined students to serve our society as well as our
nation.
Our college has an Internet connected modern computer lab with sufficient systems
to enrich and update students’ knowledge.
We ensure world-class infrastructure surrounded by lush greenery and well-turfed
garden. We have spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, computerized library
which give comfort and contentment to our students.
To impart Education to women so as to empower them, to make them self-reliant and
confident and enable them to gain control over all situations in life. To raise
awareness in women, rural as well as urban, about their rights, social justice and
gender equality.
Our mission is to give an excellent education to the young women under our care,
to make them aware of their rich cultural heritage and help them fulfill their destiny
as women. The Pavai Arts and Science College for Women has its soul objective of
moulding the minds and sharpening the intellect of the students.
